Lucy Hale began her music career at the age of 8 by taking voice lessons. Lucy also began acting classes where she combined her talents for both acting and singing. She got her first break with a spot on the reality show American Juniors in 2003. She was liked so much that she was voted into the top five group after she sang the 1980's hit Call Me. Later that year the group went on to appear on many television shows such as ET (Entertainment Tonight), An American Idol Christmas and Nick's Slime Time Live.

Lucy decided to pursue acting after the American Juniors group broke up. Her first roles were as guest apperances on the Nickelodeons television show Ned's Classified School Survival Guide and Drake and Josh. Lucy Hale also produced two pilots that were never picked up on for ABC called Secrets of a Small Town and another for CBS called American Family. Lucy also appeared in episodes of The O.C., How I Met Your Mother.

From 2007 to 2008 Lucy appeared on Disney Channel's Wizards of Waverly Place as Miranda (Justin's girlfirend). Lucy also starred in NBC's Bionic Woman, which was canceled after only 8 of the 14 shows aired. Lucy also filmed another pilot for FOX's The Apostles that was never picked up. Lucy was also cast as Effie in The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2. Lucy also landed the role of Rose Baker on the CW's Privileged.

Since then Lucy has had a few more television show guest appeareances and a couple straight to television movies, which you can find details on the filmography page. Her big break came when she landed the role in the ABC show Pretty Little Liars.
